Perhaps you passed up the 8×8 Line It Up Template because you don’t make 8×8 albums – or perhaps it’s in your stash, yet to be opened. But it’s time to get it out and use it for your 12×12 layouts.
In today’s post, you’ll find the video and downloadable handout for reference as you create your layouts.
Tools & Supplies as shown:
- 8×8 Line It Up Template & Clips
- Sheet of Cardstock
- Paper Scraps

The first step is to decide where on your 12″ layout you want to use the template. You can orient it to any of the corners or in the center. It can also rotate 90 degrees x4 for other possibilities.
If you orient it to one of the corners, you’ll have room for 4×6″ photos around the edges. The trimmed photos along the bottom of this layout are 2-5/8″ x 4″. The bottom left will be a 4×6″ peekaboo pocket.

I used the Rock Fern Punch by Punch Bunch from Amazon to layer behind the circle photos. Here’s my affiliate link if you want one also!
