In today’s post, you’ll find the video and instructions to replicate the design of the Creative Memories Simple Page Kit #9 using your own supplies to create another basic scrapbooking layout.

The Simple Page Kit #9 by Creative Memories has a palette of beige, orange, and green with chocolate brown. While the stickers have several sentiments geared towards fall/autumn, the leaf and foliage stickers can fit in with any season. These senior photos were taken in the spring, but the colors vibed with his flannel shirt so I left out the fall specific stickers.

I used the Wishes & Dreams Collection by Creative Memories to create a graduation layout. You’ll need two main papers with two accent papers. I used a double-sided paper with polka dots on one side and a swirly star print on the back side. The large star print and White Shimmer Cardstock fill in the remaining pieces of the layout. Before you begin, decide if you want to use one of them as the base paper or if you want to paper weld all the pieces all together. My base is the White Shimmer Cardstock.

The 12″ Trimmer is the only required tool for this layout. Basic straight cuts are easy to piece together, creating this layout in just a few minutes. It will take longer to choose your paper than make the cuts!

Cut Guide:

Left Side: 6″ x 12″ vertical strip, 6″ x 9″ strip with (2) 1″ x 6″ pieces adhered above and below. Layer a 1-1/2″ x 12″ accent strip down the seam.

Right Side: 9″ x 12″ horizontal strip with 1″ x 12″ strips above and below. Layer a punched border or border strip along the seams of the printed strips. Double Rick Rack BMC punched in Platinum Shimmer Cardstock is shown.
